SoCal real estate

The hummingbird feeder at my parents' house is unusually quiet. One doesn't expect the throngs my father once photographed, but there ought to be at least two or three, one keeping watch atop the yucca, perhaps another sneaking in from the east when the others aren't looking? What's happened may be this: this unassuming character is a different species, an Allens rather than the usual iridiscent Annas. My father has heard that the aggressive Allens are moving down from LA...
