The New School A Poached Fish

There's a restaurant I've been going to a lot with a friend and one dish in particular has become my favorite, a version of 水煮鱼 shuizhuyu, Sichuan- style poached fish in hot chili oil. (You don't eat the chilis or Sichuan peppers, of course.) I like the name of the restaurant 青年公社 which they English as Youth Commune. But only today did I discover that the fish has an endearing name, too: 新派水煮鱼 xinpai shuizhuyu, which they render new school boiled fish!! My cell-phone dictionaries don't see the new school in 新派 but they're close: new faction and fashion leaders!
