This morning I thought it's two months in Shanghai and I haven't been to the City God Temple! That's been remedied and I've no regret about having taken my time to get there. It's a themepark of vaguely historical looking shopping arcades, like Nanjing's Confucius Temple, though on a grander, more vertical scale. Did olde Shanghai ever look like this?
There are still remains of the Old City nearby, though going fast.
